Snowspresso

This method of espresso making requires specialized equipment and specific environmental condition.

The first step is to monitor the forecast and identify an upcoming snow storm.

Purchase a camping stove and kettle from any outdoors store, and a outdoor espresso maker. The maker I use is a Rok and can be purchased on Amazon, directly from ROK or as a gift bundle in our Shop.

Before it begins to snow, set out an pot to collect the snow. Enjoy the snowfall and while you wait for the pot to fill. Adirondack chairs do not change the flavour, but they do improve the experience.

Once your pot is full, bring it inside and allow the snow to melt, or put snow directly into the kettle

Get your coffee, espresso cup, and all your supplies ready then head back outside.

Place kettle on your outdoor burner and bring it to a boil. Run some boiled water through your espresso maker to heat it up.

As soon as possible after heating the espresso maker begin making espresso according to the method required by your machine.

Sit back and enjoy.

Whenever possible brew and enjoy your coffee outdoors, it changes your drink into an experience.
